Are you an experienced Account Manager up for a challenge and help us building our new Sales Department? Then working at Cefetra might be a perfect fit for you!

The Cefetra Group consists of various agricultural and food ingredients trading and supply chain management companies, with leading brands within the ingredients business. Together we employ more than 500 people in 34 offices located in 20 countries around the world, and work closely together to guarantee the best possible service to our customers.
We develop supply chains with suppliers and create value by sourcing raw materials and supplying the international food and feed industry.
Cefetra Group is part of the German BayWa group of companies.

 

Our strategy
With roots in the feed industry as a supplier of various proteins, cereals and oilseeds/(veg)oils, the Cefetra Group is looking to expand its portfolio in the coming years thereby transforming into a trader of high-quality ingredients.
Supported by its clear ‘Road to Ingredients’ strategy, the Cefetra Group is actively seeking new growth areas within the food, nutrition and health markets.

Scope and position
In the past few years ​the research and quant department created a startup within the Cefetra Group company, focusing on creating high quality research for external parties. The team is very passionate about developing products and are looking for a new colleague who has the drive, experience and leverage to bring our team to the next level.
Cefetra is therefore looking for a sales manager who has the unique opportunity to setup sales from scratch, selling our services to external parties. Through our broad network we already have a good understanding who our potential clients are, but we expect you to also actively look for new potential customers.
We therefore give you also the opportunity to travel abroad, visiting potential customers and conferences.
Besides this you will leverage Cefetra’s network, mobilize in-house traders to connect with potential clients and you will be responsible for after sales services to ensure an excellent customer experience.

 

Furthermore:

  • You will set up and execute account plans
  • Create promotional materials together with the team
  • Provide input, guidance & coaching on the growth platforms
  • Prospecting and cold calling

Job requirements

Who are you
You are a connector and you have the ability to identify and generate new business opportunities. You know how to persuade, influence and win the trust and confidence of our prospective clients. To be successful you need to be a self-starter able and a high impact communicator with stakeholders in- and outside our organization. You bring new perspective and drive the sales agenda.

Committed, hands on, self directive, dealing with ambiguity, drive for success and team leader capabilities.Further you bring:

  • A bachelor or master degree in business, economics, or comparable education with key elements of business strategy
  • Strong business acumen
  • High numerical capability
  • Excellent command of English in word and writing and if you speak German or French this is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
