The Cefetra Group consists of various agricultural and food ingredients trading and supply chain management companies, with leading brands within the ingredients business. Together we employ more than 500 people in 34 offices located in 20 countries around the world, and work closely together to guarantee the best possible service to our customers. We develop supply chains with suppliers and create value by sourcing raw materials and supplying the international food and feed industry. Cefetra Group is part of the German BayWa group of companies.

 

Our strategy
With roots in the feed industry as a supplier of various proteins, cereals and oilseeds/(veg)oils, the Cefetra Group is looking to expand its portfolio in the coming years thereby transforming into a trader of high-quality ingredients. Supported by its clear ‘Road to Ingredients’ strategy, the Cefetra Group is actively seeking new growth areas within the food, nutrition and health markets For BayWa and Cefetra Group, sustainability is a strong business driver. The United Nations and Bloomberg have selected BayWa as one of “50 Sustainability and Climate Leaders” worldwide for its activities in sustainability and climate protection.

 

The job
We have an opportunity in our Business Development team. Cefetra Group is growing and diversifying rapidly and it is our team’s role to support and enable the growth by exploring, initiating and delivering growth related projects. You will support and manage these projects related to group and subsidiary strategies. This includes a wide variety of projects such as: M&A, partnerships within and outside our group, green and brown field investments, setting-up new companies under our umbrella, and finding new product and service models that can benefit one or multiple entities within our group.

Job requirements

Who are you
You are a naturally curious, creative and innovative professional and you are ready to jumpstart your career. You have the learning agility to develop into a more senior role in which you will start developing your own growth related projects with of course guidance and support from the team.
You are able to identify and generate business opportunities. To be successful you need to be a self-starter and self-organised and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders in- and outside our organization. You have an ability to understand and analyze complex questions, manage and deliver on high impact projects, and build business connections.

  • A master degree in business, economics, or comparable education with key elements of business strategy
  • If you have M&A knowledge and or experience this is a plus

We offer

We offer a position with direct exposure to the management board of the Cefetra Group and interaction and cooperation with our commercial, functional and management directors across our international group of companies. In addition to this we offer:

  • Fixed salary of €50-55k annually (depending on prior experience) on fulltime basis
